Barrel Racing is sanctioned with the Central Barrel Racing Association. Member have priority for performance entry. Only members points will be counted and qualify for the year end finals. Click HERE for more information on how to become a member.
Entry Is a TEXT System. All Entries are texted to 501-318-7758 at the designated date and time. You MUST text the following or your entry will not be accepted. Entry Fees for each event are $60 for CBRA Members and $70 ($10 finals fee) for Non-Members. Members only have priority until 8 pm on the entry date. At 8 pm any open performance spots are filled by non-members. We will continue to take slack entries after 8 pm and entries close TBD based on each event.

  • Full Name
  • Name of town or fair you are entering (we will have entry dates that have more then one event open)
  • Hometown
  • Call Back Number (if different from text number)
  • Performance or Slack Preference
  • Number Of Horses Running (you may only run 1 in perf)
  • CBRA Member Number (If no number, your entry will be treated as a non-member)

You will receive confirmation  AFTER entries have closed (8 pm or later). Last year Barrel Racers kept texting numerous times to check on status before books closed. Please do not do this, we will text confirmation shortly after books close.
We will run 15 in performance and the rest in slack. First entered (members have preference) will be in performance.  You will  be notified which gate to enter etc. You MUST check in 1 hour prior to the performance with the  secretary, if not checked in and paid 30 minutes prior to the performance you will be scratched, no exceptions. Pattern size will vary based on the arena size. Many of our events are on narrow race tracks, many have a smaller pattern. Events are a RUN IN and RUN OUT unless otherwise posted at the event. You may enter more than one horse, however only one horse can run in the performance. Only one horse at the event will count towards the tour standings. Horse ran in performance will be the one used for points. Unless all runs are in slack, then designate upon check in which horse will count towards tour points. Tour points will be based on dollars won, one dollar equals one point.  You are required to provide a current coggins for each horseYou must BRING TWO Readable COPY’S one for our records and one for the fairboard (WI NOW REQUIRES THIS)  or you can scan and email prior to the event the coggins to christina@ricebullridingcompany.com once we have it on file you do not need to bring to any future shows that year. If you are coming into a Wisconsin event from any state other then Wisconsin and Minnesota you will also need a health certificate. We will post on our facebook the run order prior to the event (please do not message us prior about run order, we will post as fast as we can and having 30+ barrel racers all messaging us slows us down). We will also post all results and run times as soon as possible after the event. Due to time restrictions at the fairs there will be NO EXHIBITION runs. Helmets are allowed at all events. Once run order is drawn changes cannot be made. Because of the HIGH number of barrel racers turning out after the run order has been drawn. We will NOT draw and post run order until the day of the event to allow for changes. All non-notified turn outs will be fined $60 (entry fee) and you will not be allowed to enter another event until this has been paid. Unfortunately we have to add this rule due to the extreme high volume of non-notified no shows last year.
